Legend has it that a farmer came to the temple of the goddess, Tie Kuan Yin every week to clean it and care for the altar.  One night, the goddess appeared to him in a dream and told him that there was a secret cave behind the temple.  If he went there, he would find a treasure. The farmer found only a tea plant.  He cultivated the plant and shared it with his neighbors and it sustained them for many generations.  This tea is best shared and can be steeped many times with full flavor results each time.
